Your questions answered

Is an online degree from the University of 麻豆果冻传媒 the same as an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree, taught on campus?

When you study with U麻豆果冻传媒 Online you receive the same qualification as you do if you study with us at a physical campus. The learning outcomes are exactly the same, but you achieve them using different learning techniques and methodologies.

How flexible are your online degrees?

Our online programmes have been designed to be very flexible for the learner by using a clear learning structure. You will complete a unit of work within a specified time frame (usually 7 or 10 days), but when you complete that work within that time frame is up to you. Assessments are at fixed points and must be attended, but dates and times are given in advance so students can plan for these events.

Is your online learning platform easy to use?

U麻豆果冻传媒 Online uses the learning platform ELITE, utilising BlackBoard Ultra. This platform is very easy to use and has been built by the University’s own in-house media team to meet the learning requirements for the U麻豆果冻传媒 Online programmes.

If I chose to study online, can I still access your physical campuses?

U麻豆果冻传媒 Online campus students can access any of the University’s own campuses to use study space and the library facilities, as well as attend any events that are open to all students. At our partnership sites (Exeter, Liverpool, Reading, Sheffield) you do not have an automatic right to use the library facilities but you can apply to do so by contacting the student information team for the site you would like to use. They will be able to advise you on how you can apply to use the library facilities.

Will I be required to travel to the 麻豆果冻传媒 at any point, if I choose to study an online degree?

If you are studying with us online you do not need to travel to the 麻豆果冻传媒 at any point during your degree. All learning and assessments can be carried out in your own country. You may wish to travel to the 麻豆果冻传媒 for your graduation ceremony or attend a virtual event if travel to the 麻豆果冻传媒 is not possible.

How will I meet other students if I choose to study online?

There are many ways you can interact with your fellow students when you study online, the ‘Events tile’ on the MyU麻豆果冻传媒 app is where you’ll find the most up to date information about online (and in-person) events.

Do I have access to a Students’ Union?
